NCR Corp is quietly disposing of ancillary businesses that it no longer regards as core, and the latest to go is JDC Data A/S of Vejle, Denmark: Reynolds & Reynolds Co, Dayton, Ohio says it has signed a definitive agreement, pending due diligence and other standard conditions, to acquire the assets of the business on undisclosed terms; JDC Data is described as the dominant supplier of computer systems and services to the automotive market in Scandinavia and has gained a foothold in the German market; it also provides computer systems and services to petrol stations, lumber yards and accounting firms, and reported $52.3m turnover last year.
