Under terms of the agreement, NCR will upgrade existing automated teller machines (ATMs) and provide new ATMs for all new SunTrust branches. NCR will manage all maintenance and professional services through 2009 for all existing NCR ATMs and all future installations. Additionally, SunTrust, the seventh largest US bank, will utilize NCR’s APTRA Edge software and related support services for its ATM channel of more than 2,700 ATMs.
