NaviSite, a provider of enterprise hosting and application services, has reported revenue of $32.4m the second quarter of fiscal year 2011, an increase of 7% compared to the revenue of $30.2m for the same period in fiscal 2010.
The company registered an operating loss of $0.022m for the quarter, as compared to an operating income of $1.22m for the same period last year.
Gross profit for the second quarter was $11.5m, compared to gross profit of $11.6m in the same quarter previous fiscal year.
EBITDA, excluding impairment costs, stock-based compensation, severance and other non-operational charges for the quarter was $7.4m, representing a year-over-year increase of 13% and a sequential increase of 3%.
For the quarter ended 31 January 2011, the company has posted net income of $4.8m, or $0.13 per share, as compared to net loss of $2.9m, or $0.08 per share, for the same period last year.
NaviSite said that it booked $0.6m of incremental monthly revenue with an average term of 16 months in the second quarter of fiscal year 2011 compared to $0.7m booked in the second quarter of fiscal year 2010 with an average term of 24 months.
