The bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) chose Prime 3.0, which now runs on the Oracle 9i database, as its platform for future growth in the hope of gaining enhanced scalability and flexibility.
This agreement is the latest between the two companies, who have maintained a long term relationship. Card Tech Limited (CTL) implemented NBAD’s Visa’s Smart Debit/Credit (VSDC) program, in a move which the company has claimed helped it to achieve success as the first bank in the Gulf to be VSDC Issuer and Acquirer compliant.
CTL also opened an office in Dubai last year in an effort to provide its customers with quick access to local technical support.
