NASHUA SNAPS UP LIN DATA

Nashua Corp, Nashua, New Hampshire, has a letter of intent to buy Lin Data Corp, formed in 1983 by IBM refugees in Santa Clara, to make high-capacity thin-film 5.25 and 3.5 disk platters, for $24m cash. Lin just survived an IBM lawsuit.
