Scotts Valley, California tape subsystems integrator Mountain Computer Inc is to become a Japanese company. The 11-year-old firm, which does some $65m in annual sales, has reached definitive agreement to be acquired by tape drive manufacturer Nakamichi Corp for $45m and is to become a unit of the Japanese firm.
