US-based North American Communications Resource (NACR) has announced the nationwide launch of ConvergeOne Vision, a monitoring and support service for multi-vendor converged IP networks.

Dan Gorski, vice president of the NACR Center of Excellence, said: Today’s communication systems are typically implemented using technology from multiple vendors and leveraging a shared IP network infrastructure. The new ConvergeOne Vision service provides a cost-effective single-vendor solution for monitoring all of a business’s communications technology regardless of manufacturer.

Reportedly, part of the ConvergeOne family of companies, NACR offers communications services including Voice over IP (VoIP), convergence, mobility, collaboration, unified messaging, and contact centers. It also provides consultative and technical support, including network readiness, design, implementation, and testing services, as well as remote diagnostics and resolution, maintenance, refurbishment, and repairs.

The company said that ConvergeOne Vision provides a real-time view of network voice, video, and data, monitoring key network performance metrics and identifying potential issues. In the event of a difficulty, expert engineers and tools including the ConvergeOne Network Operations Center enable trouble resolution and root cause analysis.

Gorski added: “In addition to minimising costly downtime, ConvergeOne Vision offers savings by reducing the need for internal network support staff and training. The single-vendor solution also eliminates the expense and inconvenience of maintaining multiple network management solutions.
