MT Hojgaard, an international construction and civil engineering company, has signed a six-year information technology (IT) services agreement with IBM, to support business scalability and optimise its technology infrastructure.

Under the agreement, IBM will support MT Hojgaard with 24×7 international help desk support, server operations and maintenance services. It will also provide a flexible offering to manage future needs in an on-demand hosting setup.

IBM will install a global network offering tied to its global support centres connecting MT Hojgaard’s worldwide construction sites with headquarters, said the company.

MT Hojgaard chief financial officer Johnny Rasmussen said the agreement with IBM will enable MT Hojgaard to grow their business and adjust to the fast-changing demands of a competitive market with a flexible offering complying with increasing demands for a high-availability and secure IT infrastructure.

IBM global technology services strategic outsourcing executive in Denmark Henrik Bodskov said the agreement has established a clear agenda for efficiency and growth for MT Hojgaard.

"IBM has the global services capabilities and is well-positioned to support MT Hojgaard to better leverage IT into its business to meet the company’s technology demands and future growth plans," Bodskov said.
