MSI has launched 13.4-inch diamond-effect X-Slim X350 notebook PC, which uses Intel CULV (Consumer Ultra-Low Voltage) energy-saving platform, with an Intel Core 2 Duo processor.

The company claims that the new notebook chassis features diamond-motif etching technology, which integrates a lozenge-pattern with diamond carving technology to ensure that each individual lozenges glitters and shines.

According to MSI, the new notebook weighs 1.5kg and is less than one inch thick. It comes with glittering, shiny effect created through the use of Color-Film Print (CFP) technology. In addition, the chassis is rimmed by a silver frame, complementing the silvery, chromium-plated power switch, LED indicator light unit, touch-screen rim and the Chiclet keyboard.

The company said that the new notebook uses new lithium-polymer battery and features ECO energy-saving technology, which allows users to choose between five different power management modes, gaming, viewing video content, preparing presentations, performing word-processing tasks, and turbo battery.

In addition, the X350 comes with memory of 2GB, 1.3 megapixel webcam, optical disk drive supporting blu-ray, built-in HDMI port and supports transmission of 5Gb and 1080p video content, the company said.
