MOUNTAIN VIEW, CALIFORNIA-BASED ADOBE SYSTEMS INC HAS ANNOUNCED ADOBE TYPEALIGN FOR WINDOWS

Mountain View, California-based Adobe Systems Inc has announced Adobe TypeAlign for Windows, a manipulation program that enables Microsoft Windows 3.0 users to create special text effects for page layout and word processing programs: Adobe TypeAlign software requires Adobe Type Manager software, which users PostScript Type 1 scalable fonts and displays them at any point size; users can mix typefaces, styles or sizes, and because Adobe TypeAlign objects are handled as text rather than graphics, users may perform text edits, deletions or insertions after applying special effects; the software is $100, and available in the next quarter.
