MOTOROLA WANTS EC INVESTIGATION OF DUMPING OF CELLULAR TELEPHONES STOPPED

A slowing of the rate of price erosion and moves by NEC Corp and Matsushita Electric to manufacture the things in the UK since its complaint was lodged early last year has persuaded Motorola Ltd to ask the European Commission to abandon its investigation of alleged dumping of cellular telephones by Japanese, Canadian and Hong Kong firms.
