The Technical Products Division of Motorola Inc has announced a VME single board computer based on the PowerPC 750 processor. The MVME2700 uses the new third generation PowerPC processor and Motorola’s PowerPlus architecture. The company says the PowerPC 750 is ideal for demanding real time industrial control applications. It will be available in October, with prices starting at around $5,000.
