Motorola has expanded its Android smartphone portfolio with the launch of Backflip, which comes with reverse flip design and Backtrack feature for speeding through Motoblur social streams.
According to Motorola, the new Backflip has a reverse-flip QWERTY keyboard, touchpad behind the display, 3.1-inch HVGA screen and full HTML browser. The Backtrack feature allows users to navigate through menus. It is a touch panel located on the other side of the device that allows users to scroll through the web, texts, e-mails and news feeds without obscuring the home screen.
Motoblur is an Android-powered content delivery service that allows users to sync contacts, posts, messages, photos from sources sources such as Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, Gmail and automatically deliver them to the home screen.
In addition, the new device also features 3G and Wi Fi access; 5MP camera; GPS; and stereo bluetooth. The Android Market provides users with access to more than 18,000 apps and widgets.

The new Motorola Backflip is expected to be available in North America, Latin America, Europe and Asia beginning in the first quarter of 2010.
