Motorola Inc says it will buy 16M-bit dynamics from its Tohoko Semiconductor Corp 50-50 joint venture with Toshiba Corp: the company supplies 4M-bit DRAMs and other chips to its two parents, and will start 16M deliveries to Motorola from spring 1995; it will eventually supply 1.5m of the parts monthly, or half of the joint venture’s total capacity, Motorola added.
