Motorola Codex has received its largest single network order in the UK, worth UKP1.1m and commissioned by the Portman Building Society; Codex installed 9600bps links to all of Portman’s 120 branches, meshed together using 64Kbps digital services to form a resilient backbone network: the project took the company six months to complete, from the discussion stage to going live.
