Motorola Ventures recently inked a business deal with Anam and now thinks it has the potential to become a leading innovator in the mobile data services sector, said John O’Donohue, managing director of Motorola Ventures EMEA, in a statement.
Anam develops SMS and MMS delivery platforms and its so-called Smart Services Framework intercepts messages to apply service logic to them so that operators can offer new services to their subscribers.
Anam chief executive Gerry McKenna said Motorola’s money will enable it to expand its portfolio and geographic reach.
Dublin, Ireland-based Anam founded in 1999 and counts Mayfair Venture Capital and Enterprise Ireland as investors.
