MOTOROLA AND PARTNERS PLAN TO EXPAND INDIAN VENTURE

Motorola Inc, with 10%, ModiCorp with 51% and Distacom Communications Pte Ltd with 39% plan to invest about $280m in their Spice Telecom joint venture over the next four years. Spice Telecom is licensed to operate cellular telephone services in Punjab and Karnataka states.
