Motorola Inc’s Austin, Texas-headquartered Microprocessor & Memory Technologies Group has made additions to its 68302 Integrated Multiprocessor family of communications processors. The 68PM302 integrates a PCMCIA controller into its core architecture to accommodate PCMCIA plug-in card applications such as data modem, Integrated Services Digital Network, wireless local area network and CDPD, Cellular Digital Packet Data cards, says the company. It lists for $17.50 in 10,000 quantities. The 68EN302 integrates an Ethernet controller with a 16-bit interface, and a Dynamic RAM controller to interface to dynamic RAM, static RAM and Electrically Programmable ROM. It lists for $25 in 10,000-up quantities. Both are out now.
