The Motorola Solutions business of Motorola, has launched the Network Modernisation (NeMo) Managed Services program, which is designed to help operators’ maximise return on existing network assets.
Motorola said that the new non-disruptive network modernisation program helps evolve a legacy network into one that is long term evolution (LTE)-ready.
The new service helps operators through entire transition to LTE, from designing and planning to optimising and managing a network, and move to a business optimisation model during the transition.
In addition, this service protects operators’ networks against potential backward and forward network compatibility issues, and help reduce operating and capital expenditures, optimise business processes and maximise efficiencies across an organisation.
Motorola Solutions Global Services vice president Eric Pradier said, the new Network Modernisation (NeMo) managed service takes away the risks, time and costs associated with building and managing a network so that operators can focus on driving new business revenue.
