Motion Works Corp and Corel Corp have ended their February agreement that gave Corel first right of refusal on multimedia publishing tools and CD-ROM titles developed by Motion Works, which is now retaining the rights to all its products as well as all advance royalties and cash payments that were made by Corel to Motion Works; Corel now just has a non-exclusive software licensing agreement that allows it to include portions of Motion Works multimedia technology in its future CorelDraw! products; Motion Works clearly decided that its technologies are worth more than it had thought, and says it is in talks with Apple Computer Inc.
