Redmond, Washington-based call center software company Mosaix Inc has released software that allows users to update data formats on the firm’s Mosaix Call Management System (CMS). The firm claims that Producer 1.1 will reduce costs for customers – such as direct marketing firms – that need to frequently change or add customer details to CMS call lists. Dave Nicholls, solution consultancy manager, says that previously the CMS system had to be reconfigured by Mosaix when changes were needed to data formats. However, he notes that Mosaix will continue to offer the service as some companies may need to change information held on the CMS system much less frequently. Producer 1.1 is available now. In addition, Nicholls said that Mosaix had started implementing Unisys Corp’s Single Point Security (SPS) software – the subject of an agreement between the two companies last year (CI No 3,361) – with its CMS system at several sites in the US. The SPS software controls access to sensitive customer data held across enterprise systems. In addition, the SPS software allows a single log-in point for users logging into multiple-software systems.
