A new report from Ofcom reveals that superfast broadband is now available to almost three quarters of UK homes, and the number of people using the technology has more than doubled in the last year.
The report highlights how the UK communications infrastructure is changing as the public make more use of the internet. Around 4.8m people use the high-speed broadband, up from 2.1m last year.
Briton’s use of public Wi-Fi hotspots has increased three-fold, as there are twice as many hotspots now available, which has been helped by the prevalence of 4G.
