Morgan Crucible, a designer, manufacturer and marketer of ceramic and carbon products, has renewed its enterprise-wide applications and services contract with AT&T.

Under the three-year agreement, AT&T will deploy global applications across 80 sites in Europe, Middle East & Africa, Asia Pacific, Canada and Latin America and the US to support communications across the company.

Morgan Crucible has selected AT&T’s Managed Hosting and Network-Based Virtual Private Network (VPN) offerings to enhance its business critical systems including: enterprise resource planning, email and financial consolidation.

In addition, Morgan Crucible will employ AT&T’s Application Traffic Analyser service to monitor network performance and avoid system anomalies across its 80 global sites.

AT&T UK sales centre vice president Dave Langhorn said a global integrated communications network is essential for an industry leader like Morgan Crucible.

"Our services and offerings can support and improve their competitive advantage and deliver a consistent global architecture to allow them to communicate efficiently and cost-effectively," Langhorn said.
