A Silicon Valley entrepreneur has said more network bandwidth and higher speeds won’t stop internet traffic jams. Craig Elliot, president and chief executive officer of start-up internet company, Packeteer Inc said its the law of the net – bandwidth supply will always lag behind bandwidth demand. He said it doesn’t matter how fast additional bandwidth is, it will always end up being saturated and stated that internet infrastructures are blatantly oversubscribed.
