Montavo said that it has initiated software engineering development for mobile application mDealFinder and Montavo Mobile Advertising Platform (mMAP) for the Google Android mobile operating system.
Montavo recently announced an initiative to upgrade the overall user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) of both the mDealFinder application as well as mMAP suite of online tools for advertisers. Reportedly, these enhancements will be incorporated into the Android development efforts which are focused on providing intuitive user interactions for consumers and advertisers.
Brook Lang, CEO of Montavo, said:Having the ability to support all of the new mobile devices that operate on the Android platform significantly extends our ability to deliver consumers the information they want when making decisions on where to buy products and services when they are on the go. The notion of effective location-based information and advertising delivery has long been an opportunity unrealised, but I feel that we’re making great strides towards finally delivering on that dream.
The development efforts will ensure that the Android platform is supported with the Rev. 3.0 release which is slated for first quarter of 2010, the company said.
