SCM Transportation Management will be interoperable with Mohawk’s current deployment of Infor ERP LX, which will enable Mohawk to enhance customer service across its distribution channel, from order entry to delivery.
Mohawk’s dynamic environment required a transportation management solution that would facilitate automated, same-day shipping of orders and integrate with the company’s current enterprise resource planning system. SCM Transportation Management will enable Mohawk, its transport partners, brokers and customers to monitor and track order progress, and provide accurate status of customer shipments.
Infor has provided Mohawk with a single platform to procure, execute, monitor, and reconcile freight services, thereby increasing the velocity and performance of our supply chain, said Paul Stamas, vice president of IT for Mohawk.
Mohawk is deploying SCM Transportation Management as a hosted solution and expects to be live in just two months. The web-based system is designed to reduce implementation time and costs, and provides Mohawk and its partners with instant access from any location to system-wide information.
