Filling a perceived gap between IBM’s AS/400 printer line-up currently 1,200 and 2,000 line per minute versions of the 4245, and the 12 or 20 pages per minute offered by designated versions of non-impact printers – Mohawk Ltd has announced the availibility of its MP6060 non-impact printer; the UKP43,000 product can print 4,000 lines or 60 pages per minute using normal font sizes, and can double throughput with smaller, archiving fonts: independent Mohawk was formed via a management buyout of Mohawk Data Sciences’ UK subsidiary.
