Mobicom, Alcatel-Lucent and Research In Motion have launched BlackBerry wireless solution in Mongolia. At launch Mobicom will offer customers the BlackBerry Bold smartphone as well as service plans for BlackBerry Enterprise Server and BlackBerry Internet Service.
Research In Motion (RIM) claims that the BlackBerry Bold is the first BlackBerry smartphone to support tri-band HSDPA high-speed networks around the world and comes with integrated GPS and Wi-Fi.
The BlackBerry Bold also features: a full-QWERTY keyboard, a half-VGA colour LCD display; 128Mb flash memory, 1Gb on-board storage, plus a microSD/SDHC memory card slot that supports up to 16Gb memory cards. Users can also download Microsoft Word, Excel or PowerPoint files and edit them directly on the handset using the preloaded DataViz Documents to Go software suite.
