Trading giant Mitsui & Co has its own brand personal computer to the AX Japanese AT standard to be offered in competition with AX machines from the likes of Sharp Corp, Sanyo Electric and Kyocera Corp: the Mitsui VAR-Mate will come in three models, and is expected to be priced at around the same level as the Sanyo machine, $2,650 with two floppies.
