MITSUI BANK SOFTWARE SERVICES SIGNS MARKETING AGREEMENT WITH NCR

Mitsui Bank Software Services, a software subsidiary of the giant Mitsui Bank, which merged last year with Taiyo Kobe Bank to make itself ever more enormous, has signed a value-added reseller agreement with NCR Corp to market the Tower Unix family rinning its in-company banking system, mainly to the 1,500 customers of its in-company banking terminals; the plan is to expand the system to other companies outside the existing clients through sales of the Tower machines linked on Novell Inc’s NetWare with personal computers on the same network, enabling links to the bank’s head office Hitachi Ltd mainframe, for transmission of announcements fron the bank.
