MITSUI BANK SOFTWARE SERVICES DEVELOPS SMART CARD SYSTEM

Clock cards go high-tech: Mitsui Bank Software Services has developed an Smart Card Working Hours Management System that uses a Toshiba J3100 laptop to send data about hours worked by employees to a Mitsui Bank host computer; including the charge for customising reports, the software is around $4,000, and with the Smart Card reader and cards for 50 employees the system costs around $10,000.
