Meantime to meet the soaring demand that is causing such pain in the US memory chip user amrket, Mitsubishi Electric Corp will greatly increase output of 1M-bit dynamic RAMs: it plans to ramp up production at its Saijo plant in Ehime to shell out parts at a rate of 3.5m a month from March, and also plans to start making the things – or packaging them, it’s not clear – in the US from this summer.
