MITSUBISHI TO ASSEMBLE 80286 MACHINES IN US BY END OF MONTH

And Mitsubishi Corp has moved up plans for US manufacture of MS-DOS micros: the company will be assembling 80286 machines at its Torrance, California base by the end of the month, and will steadily increase US content – it already uses US disk drives – to the point where the boards are stuffed in the US.
