By CBR Staff Writer

Mitsubishi Electric Corp claims to have the fastest neural computer yet, reports Newsbytes. The basis is an analogue neural network board the company claims runs at 20 Tera-operations a second, about 1,000 times faster than the fastest current supercomputers. The board packs 18 proprietary neural chips, each integrating 1,800 neurons. This neural board is measures 13.3 by 21.6 and is designed to plug into the bus of an engineering workstation.
