Mitratech Refines Insurance Claims Litigation Solution Model

To provide claims managers with real time data on how claims are being litigated across a large claims organisation

By CBR Staff Writer

Mitratech, a market and technology provider in collaborative accountability and legal operations management software, has expanded its Insurance Claims Litigation Solution Framework.

The new edition includes upgraded capabilities for litigation trend analysis and fraud detection.

The current recession has proved tough on insurers, with pressures to reduce costs occurring just as litigated claims, as well as fraudulent claims, are on the rise. Insurance claims managers face great pressure to cut litigation expenses such as outside counsel fees, while improving their ability to detect fraudulent claims.

TeamConnect’s Insurance Claims Litigation Solution Framework is intended to provide claims managers with real time data on how claims are being litigated across a large claims organization. By helping staff attorneys gain a better understanding of effective claims defense practices, as well as detecting fraud, the framework helps narrow the carrier’s loss ratio, claims the company.
