Under this agreement, Mitel Networks will bundle the SonicWALL SOHO2 firewall appliance with the Mitel Networks 3100 Integrated Communications Platform (ICP) for a secure, IP-based communications solution for the small and branch enterprise. This relationship will enable Mitel customers to continue their rapid adoption of Voice-over-IP solutions along with the added capabilities of SonicWALL security appliances including fast firewall throughput and scalability to support value-added security services such as network anti-virus, ASIC-based accelerated virtual private networking (VPN), strong authentication using digital certificates, and content filtering subscriptions.
