The aim of the program is to give hospitals exclusive rights in their area to provide Misys’ electronic medical records (EHR) service to its admitting physician practices.
The ability to interconnect medical care setting through the use of electronic health records is critical to the establishment of a national electronic health information infrastructure, said Scott Sanner, vice president of sales for Misys Healthcare Systems. Hospitals, because of their unique position, have the ability to facilitate EHR usage, one community at a time. And with our Community Clinical Partnership Program, Misys is offering them the product to help them leverage this capability.
Sanner added that the program serves as a differentiator for hospitals and helps them connect with area physicians.
