Misys Plc’s MCM Misys Computer Maintenance division has acquired the maintenance activities of Basingstoke-based Apple Computer Inc systems specialist Sign Express Group Ltd for #400,000. The deal brings MCM Ltd a customer base of over 200, and puts the company ahead with its total information support strategy, broadening its skills in operating software support, networking and interconnection. Sign Express is six years old and has two main areas of operation – supplying software to the sign industry and providing systems integration. The acquisition is one of several that Misys Group has made over the last six months (CI No 1,834).
