Misys says by implementing Misys CPR, BGH’s 600 staff, including 75 physicians, will have immediate, web-based access to comprehensive clinical data that will facilitate informed decision-making at all points of care.
Misys CPR will enable Brockville to electronically document and coordinate care throughout each patient visit: from scheduling to orders management to medication administration to discharge. As a result, Brockville can expect to enhance patient information availability, save significant clinician time and improve the quality of care for the patients it treats.
Richard Atkin, president of Misys healthcare systems’ hospital systems business unit, said, Brockville and Misys share the vision of deploying healthcare services that result in improved health outcomes. We look forward to working in partnership with the hospital to make the promise of digitized healthcare a reality as part of the larger data-driven redesign of the healthcare industry.
Misys claims thousands of patients and doctors across North America benefit from Misys CPR, which provides a single, integrated computer-based patient record solution with a comprehensive suite of modules that help caregivers achieve best practices.
