A group of veteran marketing and technical managers from the magnetic media and software duplication industries has come together in Pleasanton, California to form MissionSix Development Co Inc to develop, manufacture and market a complete line of systems and equipment for applications in the software duplication industry for marketing through distributors worldwide under the Xpress trade name. First products will be a series of floppy disk labellers in both automatic and manual models and they will be followed by what the company describes as a unique line of floppy autoloaders and duplicators, to be unveiled at Comdex/Fall in November. No details of MissionSix’s financial backing were given.
