Mirial, a provider of audio and video communication over convergent networks, has introduced a video conferencing client for Apple iOS devices, supporting both SIP and H.323 standards.

The new offering for Apple iOS devices features video conference that is available for iPhone 4, iPod Touch 4th gen, and will be compatiable with iPhone 3GS and iPad in few weeks.

The new offering provides a standards-based offering for video conferencing over Wi-Fi, 3G and 4G networks.

The offering enables iPhone users to connect to other iPhones, iPods, Android phones and tablets such as the Samsung Galaxy Tab, Windows PC and Mac or to any H323 standards-based video conferencing equipment such as room systems or existing MCUs.

Mirial vice president marketing Cristoforo Mione said the H323/SIP interoperable offering available for all the most used platforms: Windows PC, Mac, Android and now iOS/iPhone.

The company said the client for iPhone is available immediately as an option for ClearSea and MCS desktop video conferencing products.
