The agreement will enable Mirapoint to leverage Tumbleweed’s proprietary encryption and decryption technology patents to provide enhanced email communications to its customers worldwide. Terms of the license agreement with Mirapoint were not disclosed.

The license agreement with Mirapoint covers Tumbleweed’s two US patents titled ‘Encryption and Decryption Method with Content Analysis Provision’ and ‘Email Firewall with Stored Key Encryption/Decryption’.
