MIPS SUPPLIER QED TO DISCLOSE ALPINE 64-BIT CPU

MIPS chip supplier Quantum Effect Design Inc will use the Embedded Systems Conference portion of the Microprocessor Forum this week to discuss its Alpine part, described as a high- integration and high-performance 64-bit MIPS CPU geared toward cost-effective but high-performance systems that require a small form factor and low system power consumption.
