MINISCRIBE HAS OEM CONTRACT FROM COMPAQ COMPUTER

MiniScribe Corp has an OEM contract from Compaq Computer Corp for 300Mb Winchesters with 16mS average access time, for use in Compaq’s Deskpro 386/20 Personal Computer: the Longmont, Colorado firm says the agreement represents a substantial increase in the level of shipments of the 9380 drive to the company.
