The model 8051S is half-height drive storing a formatted 42Mb with 28mS average access time and an embedded SCSI controller. Key features include a single printed circuit board rotary voice coil actuator, headlock and shipping zone, and 8W power drain. The 8051S is aimed at new generation small footprint desktop computers and is shipping now, selling for $595 when you order 1,000-up.
