MINDSPRING CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER RESIGNS

By CBR Staff Writer

The chief financial officer of ultra-acquisitive internet service provider Mindspring Enterprises Inc has resigned. Michael Misikoff will leave the company at a date to be determined, but will stay on long enough to help find a replacement. Reasons were not given for his departure, but the company did say to CBS Marketwatch that there are no problems at the company that led to the resignation and added that it is comfortable that it will meet or beat Wall Street estimates of 11 cents per share for its third quarter numbers. Misikoff joined the Atlanta-based ISP in 1995 when it had just eight employees.
