Mindspring Enterprises Inc has bought two sets of dial-up subscribers this week, and there’s still a couple of days for the ultra-acquisitive ISP to buy some more. On Monday it bought the customers of White Plains, New York-based ExecNet and yesterday it announced the acquisition of FreedomNet’s dial-up customers. The latter is a division of Richmond, Virginia-based Nerds4Rent, which will act as a reseller for Mindspring’s dial-up services, while continuing to provide commercial hosting and leased lines under the FreedomNet name. The financial terms of both transactions were not disclosed.
