By CBR Staff Writer

MindSpring Enterprises Inc, the Atlanta, Georgia-based internet service provider (ISP), has acquired the consumer dialup internet subscribers to Cyber Connections Inc, also of Atlanta. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. MindSpring has been buying subscribers all year; this announcement marks its sixteenth such acquisition. Every Cyber Connections dialup customer is to receive the MindSpring starter kit, which includes the company’s user access interface, software for W95, 3.x and the Mac, a user’s guide and access to MindSpring’s hyped 24-hour toll-free technical support. The company hopes to transition its new clients in 60 days.
