Mincom has unveiled new open, standards-based platform, which offers integration across all Mincom offerings, along with integration to other ERP platforms.

The Mincom Integration Platform provides businesses in asset-heavy industries with the choice and flexibility in the way they use and integrate Mincom offerings. Built upon service oriented architecture (SOA), the integration platform ensures that Mincom offerings are readily integrated into any IT environment, the company claims.

According to Mincom, the new integration platform includes capabilities such as pre-built integrations between Mincom’s Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) products and other third-party systems; standards-based integration-enablement environment for Mincom products that provide services for XML, Web Services, HTTP(S), JMS and JDBC; and support of synchronous and asynchronous web services-based integration.

The new offering also includes mapping and transformation facilities, with support for multiple integration formats and methods; orchestration layer for integration mapping, processing and routing; tools for configuration, customisation and deployment; and support for B2B integration between and enterprise and trading partners.

In addition, the Mincom Integration Platform includes Extract Transform & Load (ETL) capabilities to integrate vast amounts of data found throughout the IT ecosystem in order to populate performance-based data warehouses; and pre-configured integration to Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to provide geospatial context to asset and work management capabilities.

Greg Clark, CEO of Mincom, said: “Through the Mincom Integration Platform, we are able to offer a truly open, scalable, standards-based business process integration approach to ensure asset-intensive businesses can exploit the benefits of processes and information that span packaged application boundaries. This new technology from Mincom provides businesses with the flexibility to select the best applications for a specific requirement.”
