MILLICOM SOLD SOME OF ITS HOLDING IN ITS PARENT, RACAL ELECTEONICS

Despite the noise it made about Racal Electronics Plc’s chosen method of realising some of the value locked up in its Vodafone business, when it came to the crunch, Millicom Inc, New York took up its full entitlement to Racal Telecommunications Group Plc shares, and sold some of its holding in the parent company to help cover the cost of the 6.7m shares; accordingly, its holding in Racal is now below 5%.
